Many years ago... at Native Nations Ablaze event in Mission, SD (August 2011). I heard a team from Iowa spontaneously sing, "we burn our chariots, we set our horses free because You are all we need."

Well... I LOVED it and it got filed into my memory bank... even forgot about it until a morning prayer at Destiny Foursquare Church. What is interesting is I couldn't recall the where it came from... and Pastor Tani Parker said, "Ken you better write a song from that or me and Brent will."

Over time... the memory of that song began to resurface and I recalled there is a video on YouTube from that moment in Mission, SD.

I took the musical idea from the video and wrote a similar idea. In time I contacted the team that came up with that spontaneous idea and was told that someone from another church came up with the line. I found that person and she said, it's not mine... it was spontaneous moment, so please use it!

I recorded a portion of the song and recently discovered my original version I started in 2016.

Then back in 2021 while visiting my dear friends, Brent and Tani Parker... and we decided to write a song from that phrase... and once again, my memory forgot I even wrote another version back in 2016... so we wrote a newer version of the song.

So again, I found the half done 2016 version and decided to finish it. Here it is for you... may we all come to a place in life where we let go, and let God... He is all we need!
